Cut
01

Every season starts with what the mills have left, not with a sketch. Wool pinstripe, cotton canvas, technical twill: bought in short lengths, which is the honest reason a run ends when it ends.

02

Nothing is fitted to the body. The shoulder is dropped, the sleeve runs long, and the canvas is left unlined so the cloth can move and crease the way it wants to.

Embroidered, then applied by hand to the outside of the piece rather than hidden in a collar. It is the last thing that happens before a garment leaves the studio.
